Thumbs down New Warbonnet Superfly tarp leaks at Ridgeline

This is unbelievable to me! I'm sitting there in a downpour looking for leaks on the pull-outs I seamsealed and water is dripping all the way down the ridgeline. Too wet to sleep in for sure. It got my hammock very wet.
Should I raise hell with WB and send it back to be seamsealed? This thing shouldn't leak like that! It's new with about 15 nights use on it.

    Suggestions please!?!
    Thanks

Agree with squidmark... contact Warbonnet. the method that they use for the ridgeline is normally bomb-proof and completely water tight.

Agreed, contact Warbonnet. That is unusual. I never seam sealed the ridgeline on my original Superfly and it never leaked a drop. I have had it for a couple years and it has been in some serious down pours.

    Def call Warbonnet

I've had mamajamba in many rainy nights and never had a leak from the ridge. Side pullouts are a different story.

Sent from somewhere east of Montauk...

How do you have it rigged? Are you using a continuous ridgeline? If so make sure the ridgeline is not under the tarp.

Also I'm sure you don't have to "raise hell". They seem to work with people if the fault is theirs.

My suggestion.....contact Warbonnet. Sure they will fix you up.
Also, if you have a ridgline under tarp the water may be running in that way.

FWIW.. I use a CRL and the tarp hangs below it. Prevents water from running down the ridge line and under the tarp as Shug mentions.
