    Question Clark Go-to-Ground Hammocks Models

Is the MARK2 the only Clark Hammock model designed for go-to-ground?

Some of the other models looks pretty tough, so I'm wondering if they are suitable or not?

I'm in Australia and plan to do most of my camping around Australia, but I'd also like to take it overseas occasionally. In Australia the summer is mid 40s 'C (104-123'F) and in the winter snow the extreme is -23'C (-9.4'F).

I have the MARK2 and think it is the only one.

Yeah, I don't see any design features in the NX or NA series that are really aimed at going to ground. With a bit of ingenuity you can make them work as a bivy sack. The poles in the NX could be nice to keep the net out of your face. I'd not like the idea of rubbing and grinding the bed material on the ground too much though.

All the shortcomings of being on the ground and none of the benefits of a tent.

On my NX270, I can stake to make it work, but would want a tyvek or other ground cloth. Mark2 is made to go to ground, with the integrated fly.
