I got mine from a fellow hammocker. He does nice work.

If it's not raining when I make camp, I hang the hammock first and then lay down a Tyvek ground cloth. Next, I dump everything onto the ground cloth while only the hammock is in the way. Finally, I'll setup the tarp.
I've got a pack hanger, but I'd much rather have everything in reach while I sit in my hammock.
I'm still working out a pattern on where exactly everything should go each time so I can be more efficient about it all.
I've wished I had some sort of gear sling once or twice in extremely bad weather, but that's rare. I would always put everything in the pack and cover it with my rain jacket if I'm getting spatter on stuff.
Just pulled the trigger on a SLD gear hammock,1.1 coyote brown with plain zipper. My idea is to put my down items in it in the pack and keeping it with other gear off the ground and under the tarp at night.I'm hoping to gain a net saving in weight by eliminating the down item sacks I currently use.

This is the way I store my pack. I found that it's easier than bending over to put it on and to take it off.
I do this as well.

So I was with the wife at local charity store and saw a multi level net storeage device - wife says it's from Ikea - picked it up to try - will report back in Oct.
Same I use a gear sling for the sake of convenience and accessibility. There're plenty of options available like the folks mentioned above.
This is the one I use.I like it quite a lot. Got it off amazon.
