Double Layer Chameleon is now available in the Chameleon.

We are now offering a double layer option for the Chameleon Hammock. It make is so you can put a pad in between the two layers and also raises the weight limit. It actually look cool too.

You can chose any two fabric options, not bad for a off the shelf hammock.

Tell me about it! About 2 months ago I went back and forth about the Chameleon since I really wanted a double layer/wide. I emailed and asked and was told that a double layer was not in the cards due to the way the zipper works. So I ended up going with a single layer 2.4H Chameleon and have found I like the design of the hammock but hate how much stretch i get from the single layer. Now a double layer is here...and I have a stretchy hammock I dont love....just my luck.

But good on ya, Dutch, for listening to your customers and working through the zipper issue to bring a DL to the hive. One thing I love about the cottage vendors is their willingness to pivot and give the masses what they want/need when they need it.

“The word hammockable (Meaning: two trees that are the perfect distance apart between which a hammock can be hung) is not in the dictionary, but it should be.”

I did the same. I ended up selling my Chameleon and went with another vendor for a DL wide.

My first post here. After weeks of combing thru discussions, reviews, and watching countless YouTube videos (thank you everyone for your experience and opinions), I finally decided on the Chameleon for my very first hammock (seems perfect for a complete newbie such as myself, who has no idea which "lay" I prefer, among other things). Then I agonized over fabric and colors. Finally pulled the trigger and placed my order with Dutchware this morning...only to see the double layer option this afternoon. I called the phone number on the website, expecting voice mail since it was after hours on that side of the country, and Dutch himself answered on the first ring! ...Dutch patiently answered my questions about the double layer, offered great suggestions, and agreed to put my order on hold until I decide if I want to go with this option.

Just wanted to publicly thank Dutch and his team for the amazing customer service. Now more decisions to make...
