I am hoping someone with more experience may have suggestions regarding how i could be doing tbis better... let me try to expain, first off i am sleeping in an ENO DN with a whoopie srl on Atlas type straps, (saving for whoopie or cince bkls), under a Kely Noahs 12... I am hanging my tarp under ridgeline and have my srl set at about 94", to have my tarp close to the ground (1-2'), my suspension at around 30°, and my srl almost taught, i am having to hang my suspension higher than my tarp ridgeline on the trees to keep my butt off the ground. Tarp at about 7' up. Currently trees are 15' apart which doesnt seem to be that extreme considering my tarp is close to 11' (catcut) in length at the line. I am fairly new to hanging and have learned alot from this forumn so i am hoping for a little guidance, is this common or could i be doing something differant.
