Something to be aware of, Black Warrior WMA will have a special opportunity gun hunt for deer in Zone B on Nov 10-11. This may bring a lot of hunters into the forest since this is the first gun hunt in the management area. Wolfpen hunter's camp is usually empty, but this will be our first group hang during a gun hunt so be aware that we may have company this year. This may rule out the Sougahoagdee trip, as it is in zone B. Also, there is a sign up link on page 1, post #5 of this thread for those that may have missed it.

I think if we get there around ten and there's no trucks or cars around we should be fine? My 2cents and get in and get out before 3:30 thank goodness I know the super short cut! But some can go the long way if you want?

Glad you're not on call. I can't count the number of times I couldn't take a trip because of the duty!

Yep, I was thinking Coal Mine Branch Falls and Holmes Chapel Falls would be good to go to since they are so close, we'll just have to wait and see. Ask Jim, I always like to plan my trips far in advance! Not.

The Blackjack group has agreed that us moving the date of our hang will allow for some of us to join you guys at Wolfpen for the Sipsey Hang and HOPEFULLY allow for some of you guys to come hang out with us on DECEMBER 1st-3rd. So to clarify, the official dates to for the North Mississippi - Batesville MS Blackjack Hang will take place on December 1st-3rd. I have pm'd an Admin to help get the dates straightened out.
