    GPX Files

Can admin go into the attachment settings on the forum to allow the uploading of GPX files ? Should only take a couple of minutes to do.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Agree that it would be the start to a great resource, especially in new explorations...

As a point of reference, how large is a typical GPX file?

An electronic file of traveled route, created from GPS
I use them for biking a lot, but would also like to see trail routes that can be shared.

All of mine are between 30kb and 115kb. Most around 35kb. Obviously it depends on number of waypoints and length, but it should never get huge. Think of it as just a bunch of numbers in notepad.

Something like this, just hundreds or thousands of lines. Looks like there's no altitude, so that could add some.

    Thank you.

It's official, I'm getting old. I'm falling behind the technology.
