I saw this deal on Massdrop today. Looks like a huge savings if you are in the market. I am not but still may pick one up at this price.

That's not a bad price for a shortish hammock with included tarp. I'd recommend putting your hard earned money toward one of the lighter more comfortable hammocks from one of our outstanding cottage vendors.

And it is even a better deal for a 'longish hammock', which is what the HH Explorer actually is.

At 10' 8" hammock isn't considered "longish" at all these days.

Actually that's 10' 10", pretty close to 11'.

Good point, my math was bad. For me and my 12 foot hammocks and now my new 13 foot SimplyLightDesigns TrailLair make getting and more importantly staying on a diagonal so much easier.

So tempting to grab one of these for my husband. My younger son and I love our Expeditions. They fit us well (around 5' 4" and 5'), but I know my husband (5' 8") would need something longer. Thanks for sharing.

He would like it! Its more roomy than the expeditions. Always comfortable for me! I have one of the classics with bottom entry. Circa 2007. If I were to get one now it would be the zip. And I am around 5'8".
