Take it with a grain of salt. Backpacker magazine recently did a review of hammocks. There was not one cottage vendor. Some people just don't know what they are missing.

OMG I thank you for showing me that. We happen to know this hobby really really well. It make me wonder when I watch collection vids of hobbies I don't know as well. To the novice, they see neat colorful hammocks. The person that put it together was obviously looking for a series of cool flashy vids. If I didn't have one, the Chameleon would have not been on there. Maybe it will get some people out in the woods though. Probably in a white cotton one from Hammock-Sky. That's what you need to thruhike the AT.

I thought you'd get a laugh out of it lol. Yeah, the Hammock-Sky is the ONLY hammock for thru-hiking, anything else will fail within 100 miles I bet ! Lol. Your vid is great though, now that I think about how you put it , they def were going for flashy vids hu? A huge grain of salt is now certainly needed and I totally agree with everyone. Maybe it WILL get people off the ground and into the woods in a hammock, let's just hope they know the difference between a real camping hammock like the Chameleon, and a toy like some of the others lol. But HYOH I guess right? If the user only needs a toy hammock and they are happy, I guess that's what matters. I still think Dutch should have been at the top though , His vid alone was better, not to mention the actual hammock lol. But hey, at least it was on there I guess right?
