I’d like to sell my most recent DIY hex tarp. It has only been set up for testing. I used 1.1 Silpoly Foliage, with olive yellow for the radial reinforcements. It’s an 11 foot long hex and uses the full width of the fabric. The base of the hex is around 84 inches. It utilizes 2 inch cat cuts. The ridgeline is bound with a polyester tape similar to what warbonnet uses, and has dual split rings on the RL tieouts. The guy-outs are radially reinforced with 1.1 olive yellow silpoly that I bonded on with silnet and tacked down with a perimeter stitch.
I used ½ inch grosgrain and ½ inch beastee D-rings for guy line attachment. This tarp is fully functional, but some of the sewing on the cat-cuts isn’t perfect, and I am only selling this one to buy materials for another because I am a perfectionist. It weighs 12.8 in the stuff sack. I’d like to get $60 shipped
