That's a good idea. I normally bring a power bank of some kind with me anyway. I am sure one can fine a fan like that at the dollar store. 2 even. (my larger bank can charge two items at once).

That clip also looks VERY handy.

I find a Fronkey Style bugnet and thin/light hammock the most comfortable when it's hot out (with my UQ hanging off to the side to be pulled under if needed later in the night). The Fronkey Style bugnet provides much more space for heat to escape than an integrated bugnet.

The O2 fans are nice to initially cool you, but remember to turn it off prior to falling asleep.

I tried my half-wit hammock out, but it was too warm (for me) to sleep with even my sea to summit bag liner alone, and the half net means the bugs can get to your legs... Didn't fancy covering my legs in DEET as it can melt plastics and I was worried if it would affect the integrity of the hammock material. The single half-wit was MUCH cooler than my double hammock.

My next option is my Exped Combi Scout hammock (a very heavy duty hammock from Exped. Great hammock but "Well built" so air flow is minimal.

I'm getting a warbonnet black bird to see if it is cooler.
