I made a double layer using BICS utube excellent videos. I made both layers the same width and my Klymit Static V insulated fits perfect with no shifting. I did add two inches of width and length with very comfortable results.

Tested with a "cheap" UQ this weekend. Worked very well and no problem with condensation and moisture. Really comfortable, but only using a UQ can give issues with shoulder squeeze, but laying a little to the side worked fine for me. The wife who slept in the hammock all night said it was the best sleep she have had outdoor and did not notice any shoulder squeeze. I need to make a bugnet, as the little buggers are still very active.
I'll post some pics soon.
Some pics from last weekend. Used a UQ which worked very well. My sewing skills need some improvement, but no collapses yet.
