    Good News in Utah

I had just learned today in one of Utah's state parks they set up a hammock camping site. See http://fox13now.com/2017/08/03/sleep...ck-for-8night/ for the news story. Also I found out that there is a city park not to far from by house that has set up hammock poles all over for day use. I am very happy about the new findings and wanted to share.

That's awesome. Glad theyre embracing it and allowing this in the parks. Hopefully theyre teaching good habits to everyone that goes there.

There are two kinds of people in this world. Those that can extrapolate from incomplete data.

That's way cool! I'm glad to see the state parks are being proactive, and welcoming, about hammocks instead of just saying "no hammocks here". What a nice option.

Whoa, that surprised me! I think I might try and get a reservation set and try it out. Why not?

    Thanks for the heads up!

They'll even rent a hammock. That is cool.
    I sew things on youtube.
I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

I was thinking of doing the same. I am working on getting the wife into hammock camping and this may be a good way to help introduce her into it. I am not sure how many camp sites they have at the lake that have been set up like this, the web site didn't say.

Hammock friendly but does not look tarp friendly. But...it is a step in the right direction.

Exactly, it's something at least, and in a State Park no less. I'm going to stay there in a couple weeks and try and figure out all the logistics of that contraption.
