TIA

Great thanks! Time for another hammock
In case any didn't know, nylon 6,6 is a much stronger thread compared to nylon 6. The entire fabric is made from nylon6,6 and not just the ripstop. It is one of the reasons the Nylon D 1.6 has a firmer feel compared to the Argon 1.6. It also is the reason for the high weight rating. Since we have switched to the 6,6 we have not had any failures with that fabric.

I did a quick read about Nylon 6,6 and it sounds promising. Hopefully we'll see more of it in other Hexon fabric weights.
Speaking of weights, will the weight rating be updated for the new Hexon 1.6? Perhaps a wide version in 1.6 and 2.4 the near future too?

So if I ordered mine on the 31st would It be the 6.6?I just got home today and it arrived yesterday. Needless to say I didn't even take time to look at it or anyone and I was outside setting it up right at dark.
We have been using Nylon 6,6 for months so yes. We changed early in the year although some of the colors were still Nylon 6 for the beginning of the kickstarter. But that purged all our old stock out. Nothing like 800 hammocks to turn your material over.

Well based on your info it looks like my Chameleon in Hunter Green Wide that was shipped on 5/18/2017 is GTG for using the new nylon 6,6 fabric.
Awesome!
