Quick question on tarp rigging & tie outs

What is the best way to attach my Dutch Stingerz to my WB Superfly? I'm almost positive I saw a video on it somewhere before, but I'm feeling overwhelmed with all the info out there. I'm not much into crazy knots, but I can figure out how to do the simple ones.

I also have Reflect-it with Dutch Hookworms and a loop of shock cord. Should I tie off the shock cord to the tie out points (Girth hitch/Lark's head??), connect to the Hookworms, then attach to the stake?

An alternative is to tie a loop in a 12-15 foot of Lash-It (times 2), larks head it to the end ring of your tarp and snap the Stinger to the end ring also. Use in the same manner as described by Derek, but this way if you have large trees or too much of a distance between trees, you can remove the line from the ring, attach it around the tree and then attach to the Stinger, giving you more length.

I prefer to use this Stingerz set-up with all my WB tarps: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ing-more-line/

Are the Stingerz significantly better than something like the Nite Ize figure 9 at https://www.rei.com/product/765515/n...htener-single?
I was thinking about getting some of the figure 9's to use for the same purpose. I have instant gratification issues, so I tend to like to run up to the local REI.

Before I switched to Stingerz, my tarp ridgeline had a Nite Ize Figure 9. It works, but it's a lot bigger and heavier, and I'm not sure if it will work with the small diameter Lash-It. Mine was spliced to the 2.2mm Lash-It. The Stingerz are made for 1.75mm line. Also, the saw teeth are rough on the cord. And the Figure 9s don't grip the rope as effectively as the Stingerz. I wouldn't go back to Figure 9s if I'm not forced.
