I put a little diamond knot on each tieout point and I remove the tarp lines every time. The video below is about my ridgeline but I have just one of those "diamond rings" at each attach point and all my tarp lines have an eye spliced into the end, so I just slip the loop over the diamond knot and cinch it up a bit and I'm good to go, easy on, easy off, but it never comes off uncommanded.

    Good luck,

I HIGHLY recommend these little guys. Just like regular line locks, but with a hook to attach to your bungee loops. And definitely budget friendly at $0.30 a piece.

Also, I tried reflect-it line and didn't like it. Too floppy and doesn't hold in hardware very well. Lawson 3/32" cord works much better.

I'm starting to not like the reflect it myself. It knots so easy and tangles even easier. Maybe I'll switch it out and add the line locks or one of your other recommendations. I don't have to have reflective line, just like it BC I'm super clumsy and always trip over them it seems. Hell, orange paracord would even work. I just wanna simplify the adjustment process and get rid of the knots in the lines. I've got several that I can't pick out.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. What line are you using/ length ?

Lawson reflective cord. I cut a 25' section in four, so they're a little more than 6' each, which is good for porch mode.

Back in February I asked if people put their guylines on their stakes or on the tarp. If you want to check out the thread here, it's full of useful info from the people who put their guylines directly on their stakes.

I ended up putting my guylines directly on my stakes and I love it much better than being directly on my tarp. I hate knots, so I knew I was never going to be using them. I first tried Dutch's hookworms but I had a hard time flipping the line around the bottom, very especially in cold weather. I don't know why my brain was having such a hard time grasping the correct way to do it. I then went to Dutch's fleaz and I just find them easier.

I wrap the line around my stakes just like you have it. Yea, it takes a bit of time when breaking up camp, but it's worth it to not have them be tangled. When I go to set up the tarp, I just hold the stake up by the end of the line and let it drop to the ground - it unravels in a second and I'm ready to go.

Figure 8 pinky/thumb using last 3 to 6 inches to wind around the middle then slip end under winding. I have wrapped up to 50' of paracord using this method and it just shakes out
