What is stronger than biner clips?

Im experimenting with my underquilt to determine the best way to fasten something onto the sides of it and run a stretch cord from it up to my hammock sides to secure it. I dont want to do any sewing at this time. Biner clips on the quilt do not hold. Any ideas? Thanks

So when you are not in the hammock the sides of your quilt should lift the hammock slightly. Do you see this reflected in your setup?

Are you talking about binder clips, not 'biners aka carabiners.

I have used tarp clips and shark clips to hold a poncho under my hammock as an underquilt protector. They hold well, but I'd be concerned they might damage your quilt.

A few regular clothespins would hold better.

To make them hold better, wrap a rubber band around the jaws.

These grip very well and could be used to do this.

Alligator Clips. They have pretty aggressive teeth, use with caution. I've been using one lately to pull a CDT into position on a bridge. So far so good.

I have used these on a tarp on a boat (granted apples to oranges) but they suck...

A mistake I made on my first quilt was to use a elastic cord that was too stretchy, it really stretched in the dampness of night.

Not sure why you want the "Strongest" biner or exactly what you are asking. My micro Carbiners work great to hold up my quilt.

I suggest you select your elastic carefully.
Your UQ will not weigh much, strong really is not much of an issue in my experience.

I am sure someone will have an idea that qorks for your need. Enjoy your project.
