    Making a note of this.

I assume this was because your tie outs were wide due to the Bridge Hammock configuration.

Yes sorta but I believe a 3rd tie down (rather than a tie out) would be more beneficial but now that I think about it a 3rd tie out would be nice as well.

It was your response to my Cuben Fiber question that brought my attention to the Winter Haven.

I have been overlooking this option.

Winter Haven or Winter Palace are on the top of my list.

Winter Palace I can just order.
Winter Haven takes a little time to figure out what folks did to customize it and why.

    Silpoly XL has my attention.

However I don't understand some of the options.

For instance..... Line Locs Swap for D-Rings (extra ties)

    What does extra ties mean?

I would suggest just emailing Jared as he's great to work with and typically gets back to you within a few hours.

Just a comment and one that has Jared puzzled..

My winter Haven is xenon wide. I get weird condensation on the underside during perfect conditions. If it's in the 60's with high humidity it happens. Raining or not, the inside of the tarp will be damp to dripping.

Maybe this is a fluke with my particular tarp, but I wouldn't recommend that fabric for the Northeast where we can see those conditions. As soon as humidity goes down, it dries out. Note that this is with the doors fully open, and not necessarily with me in the hammock.

I could be in trouble then. I'm in the SE, and humidity is certainly prevalent here. I have a Xenon wide winter tarp in the works as well.

    I emailed Jared on Wednesday...

That option is for straight edge tarps only (because there are naturally extra tie outs on the straight edge option).

Tarp shipped today....he had to order the fabric.....lol. Still went out on Saturday.

I will start calling him Doc Jared

I also live on the Narragansett Bay and have only used it in my yard. I haven't wanted to rely on it in the field, so use my CF tarp on any trips I've taken. I suppose the proximity to the water could be another variable? Dunno. It definitely does not leak. It's condensation. Maybe, if I move out west, I'll be able to use it. lol.

Is it possible the Full PU coating is on the wrong side?

20d Wide Xenon from Dutch is Sil/PU coated one side and PU coated on side, both sides of the fabric do not have the same performance specs. Full PU coated side is the inner and needs to be seam sealed with seam grip. 1500mm HH

Hmmm. How would I test that? From memory, both sides seem the same?? I guess I need to pull it out and take a look.
