My last overnighter, I had to pee several times in the night. The combination of some nice bourbon and being lazy called for desperate measures. I rolled to the side, moved my underquilt, and peed right out of the side of the hammock.

In retrospect, I should have remembered my shoes were sitting right there.

Every day is a good day.

Well, if the equipment allows for it

HaHa OK note to self buy no used gear from Speedogomer I don't care how accurate he claims he is.

I had a similar experience this spring. My shoes were fine, but I had apparently kicked my tshirt out of my hammock in the night... I don't think a drop hit the ground.

I tend to agree, makes sense to me at least. Wide mouth Gatorade is your friend, for the guys that is .

I think I pee less hammock camping. I think because I am more comfortable. When I sleep on the ground I am up about 3-4 times a night versus 1-2 times in a hammock. And, for what it is worth, wide mouth bottles work for women too, we just have to make sure we place the bottle correctly.

Yup, up a couple times throughout the night. Mostly due to something waking me up. The good news is I get comfortable and good for another solid 3-4 hours. Even if I am sleeping in a hotel I sleep a little lighter. Your body/mind isnt use to it and you sleep a little lighter.
