Hello - Jason from Los Angeles

Hello everyone, first post into the forums, although I've been around for a little while checking out other threads and ideas. I've learned a lot on hanging through youtube and these forums. I broke my back about 8 years ago, so the few months I spent sleeping on a pad...just weren't working out. Below is my set up so far, although I have a feeling it will be ever changing haha

    Hammock: Warbonnet Blackbird Double Layer
    Underquilt: Jacks R Better Shenandoah
Top Quilt: Jacks R Better Greylock 3/4
Tarp: Warbonnet Cloudburst (Zing it, Shockcord & Dutchware Flies)
    Hardware: Dutchware Gear

Hey Phantom! There's a good chance over the next few months I'll be moving to Charlotte. Excited to get to the East Coast and explore the Smokies!

Come on to Charlotte? For your work?
You might want to get hotel room until you figure the best place to live. There is some bad traffic in Charlotte--I guess you are used to it.
I'm in bad physical condition and don't hike much. There are more than several active hiker-campers in Charlotte--they go to Linville Gorge and Wilson Creek and all over the place--their badge of honor--Gorge Rats. You might have seen some of their trip reports.
