Hi folks. SweetPea and I are on the Colorado Trail and hanging. Currently in Salida, Colorado on a zero.

If anyone is interested, we are keeping a journal (per usual) of the trip on our site :

Very nice! I actually built a mile of the CT near Kenosha Pass way back in 1976 as my Eagle Scout project. Completing a through hike on the CT is on the bucket list (along with the Long Trail),

Quick question: what did you use to convert you spreadsheet into an iPhone app? Very handy!

Enjoy the rest of the trail. Colorado is truly spectacular!

That is a big Eagle Scout project! Nice work. I used AppSheet to convert my Google Spreadsheets to a mobile app. It is pretty neat.

Good luck. I start at Waterton Park Aug 23 and walk southwest for 14 days.

Hope the Breckenridge fire is out by then.

    Very cool!
I read through your trail journal. Sounds like you two are having a great hike.
Looks like you carry a pad so you can just sleep under the tarp in the treeless alpine sections?

I love the CT and hope to do a few sections next month with my hammock. Would love to thru hike it one of these days.

Yep! On the 32 mile tree less section we used the Z Rests for one night with one Hammock tarp.
