Kelty 12 on the cheap or Warbonnet Superfly for superior craftsmanship. Wilderness Logics makes some solid gear as well. (As well as others). You need to figure out your needs and do some research on weights and pack ability and go with what best suits you. If I would have purchased the superfly first it would have been the only tarp I would have purchased. I am a bit partial to the Nube system as well. Check those guys out too.

Here's a pic of my Kelty Noah 12 in the upper peninsula, at my brother in law's cabin, over Memorial Day weekend. Everyone slept in the cabin while I opted to sleep outside in my hammock. Weather forecast was calling for thunderstorms, so I took the Noah instead of my smaller cuben fiber tarp. Glad I did as the skies cut loose one of the nights and it rained hard. My gear and I stayed dry as a bone under the Noah. I think for the money, it's hard to beat.
I think Kelty Noah's is the better option.
Woot usually runs a sale on the Kelty Noah tarps. That's where I got my 9 and 12. Here is a pic of my 12 in winter mode:
