I'm anxiously awaiting a review and more pics of the Thunderfly. Hoping to order a new tarp soon and can't decide between the Thunderfly and the MambaJamba.

I received my Thunderfly on Monday and spent the 4th seam sealing the pullouts and getting all the lines rigged up. I have two new tarps that I hope to test out on Saturday....hopefully.

Just ordered a Minifly. I've been loving my Edge, and it looks like the Mini should add a little end coverage making for a more forgiving hang.

I aso love my Edge but it really is on the edge, which is why these have caught my eye!

For an extra 1oz, the Thunderfly seems to make a lot more sense to me. The Minifly sides aren't even 4'. But people do fine in diamond tarps, so it just depends on the weather. I think the Thunderfly is a great idea and I'd pick one up if I weren't already swamped with tarps. The gear addiction has to stop somewhere!

Regardless, they're both nice options. Heck, every tarp Warbonnet makes is a good option!

I'm thinking the same thing and I still haven't ruled out the Thunderfly when I order my next tarp (between that and the MambaJamba). But like Mark said, any Warbonnet tarp is a good choice. Lol

How big are the "mini doors" on the Thunderfly? More specifically, how long is the edge that runs between the main ridge line tie-out and the door tie-out (where the two mini doors clip together? And how far to the mini doors extend past the ridge line tie-out when extended in the same plane as the tarp?
