Here's my overnight setup. I actually slept pretty good! Wish I was more comfortable sleeping on my back. Maybe I can develop that! Happy 4th!

So i see i attached my hammock wrong. It was late and i wasnt thinking.

Long story short. It lasted an hour before tripods sprrad out and tipped to the right. I did a slow sink to floor.

The good news is once I get the tripods right Im sure It will hold me.

Did you put a hobble line on your legs, to prevent them spreading apart? Doesn't have to be very strong, can be at the bottom or part the way up. Mine is 2 foot from the top, less of a trip hazard.

Grace, you need to go to a hang in the worst way. You won't believe what it will do to your learning curve.

It may just be an illusion, but does that ridgepole have a hook in it? Makes gringo nervous.

There is a slight bow but 3 nights later and all is well in that area.

First night was way too cold.
Devised diy underquilt and sleep in a hoodie.

The lay seems not quite right. I think maybe I dont have the angle right or the slack right. If i add more slack I end up on the floor. May also need a wider hammock.

On the plus side my back hurts way less.

Maybe I. Just need to get used to sleeping in a hammock.

I do lay at an angle. Still prefer to sleep on left side.
