Check this out! Solves many of our cold but/empty wallet issues!

I hope this link worked. My brother, his team at outdoor vitals, and I(I hope I helped a littl on the inovation) have came up with this solution please chime in and let me know what you think of it. It May not be perfect but it is an affordable option to get people outdoors and in hammocks. I have to admit I had my reservations but he has proven me wrong and I've had some great night sleeps in the prototype. I still love my Hammock Gear underquilt and topquilt but I just can't afford one for each member of my family.

The issue for me, and the reason I wouldn't consider buying one is it doesn't look like you could get much of a diagonal lay in that.

Maybe for kids but I couldn't stand being cocooned up like that.

Cool idea and the price is really good. Not sure if I would feel trap though.

Looks like a great concept.! The issue is, as previously mentioned, the non diagonal lay. This could easily be addressed, I think, through minor changes in design. I might be interested after seeing some reviews of the quality.
I assume these are manufactured over seas?

I had my reservations as well, i tippically sleep in my diy hammock with a hammock gear top and underquilt, but when i slept i the prototype and was warm below freezing I started to see a place for this products versatility. I LOVE my topquilt even on the ground but my wife freezez and so do my kids. When my kids are in the pod i sleep easy knowing they are warm and havent kicked off there topquilt and they wiggle out in a tent on a pad. So far i am loving it. It got alot of attention at havasufalls and when you try it you will be surprised as i was.

This concept has been around for a long time. There's been DIY ones and commercially available ones. They are warm & toasty, but all have compromised the diagonal lay.
