So what is the best way to contact Dutchgear with a problem?

I left a message at the "contact me" address for over a week with no response and then tried to call 2 times the following week and the phone wasn't answered with no way to leave a voicemail.

is this a valid way to get a response from Dutch?..

Yeah that should work. I used the form on his website to contact them and Dutch himself emailed me within a day.

The website has been having trouble for awhile, so maybe the form wasn't submitted properly; I'd actually suggest trying again. And I wouldn't be surprised if he sees your post here and contacts you anyway.

You can always send a copy of that message to them via regular e-mail just to be sure. I contacted them once via e-mail during this current rush and, as with FSU, Dutch got back to me personally that evening. He's clearly putting in the long hours to keep things running smoothly and handle any glitches that may arise.

I don't know what happened. I did the contact us but those things don't always work so I didn't panic.

I then called twice but no answer or way to leave message. I never thought to try Facebook but this worked...

I had a problem with Dutch gear once. The way I dealt with it was to wait a few minutes until I realized it was actually my mistake. Of course he may make a mistake in the near future. Say in a couple weeks.
