    ? on the Bandit

It looks from the pics on the website that the top of the Bandit is tapered. Is this true?

I have 2, one with a sewn footbox and one with snaps and draw cord. They are full width at the top and not tapered. And just in case anyone wondered, they are goegeous!

We typically under promise and over deliver. check order status page for actual wait times for current order, most are under 4 weeks. BANDIT is available either full taper or no taper, personal preference as to which. If you go no taper we do recommend overstuff as you have physically increased to quilts surface area, 10-15% is a good rule of thumb, example if quilt has 15oz of down you'll want to add 1.5 oz min to offset increased quilt volume.

Thanks, I couldn't agree more, great looking quilt design.... For the $$$ right now they are the best value on the market when the benefits of the design are considered. The direction of the top chambers provide for little to no bridging of the quilt allowing for a more thermal efficient quilt.

I lied, I actually have 3 now. A 20 degrees no taper, snaps and draw cord in burnt orange and grey, a 20 degree full taper, sewn in Moroccan blue and grey, and a 40 degree no taper, snaps and draw cord in dark olive and grey... Almost set for the wife and I!!

Sorry Peppy, but the wife and i have you beat, we have 4 of them so far between us and YES they are beautful!.
Not only can you have them built with custom printed designs from rsbtr but the actually perform perfectly and we have found that they do keep us warm right down to the temp that they are rated for!
We are considering getting one more Bandit each , not just to have one for every season of the year but for the price they are on sale for it's allmost like stealing! and just too good to pass up on. I dont think we will ever see price's this low ever again??

Does the taper on the bandit hinder a figure 4 lay. It's my preferred sleeping position.

No. not at all. just when ordering your Bandit choose the no taper option, All of my Bandits where ordered with this option and i can figure 4 with no problems at all.
I also went with the cord and snaps option for my footbox so if it's alittle tight you can just unsnap one or two snaps but i never have too.
The Bandit is an outstanding design and a really nice piece of gear,I loved my Flight Jacket and did not think that i would like the Bandit as much but i was wrong, I love my Bandits!
If your thinking about ordering one you better hurry as i heard Paul will be ending this sale soon and these sale price's are a steal!!

So it would be wise to get a quilt with no taper
