It's a long story, and as many long stories go, there's a woman at the heart of it.
See, I didn't think I'd actually want a beetle buckle suspension. I'm a bit of a weight weenie and any all-webbing suspension didn't fit my plans, so therefore I was not involved in the Chameleon KS, much to my chagrin.
Well, my wife, good woman that she is, bought me a Tato stand for Father's Day. This is way cool. The trick is finding an adjustable suspension that works with it...my whoopies have too small of a minimum distance. I tried a bunch of stuff, and then when my Chameleon came in, I was watching a bunch of Chameleon vids to see how all that worked, and saw that the Beetle Buckles would probably be the answer to my Tato Stand Suspension quandries.
So...next day, I ordered some Beetle Buckles, and they just arrived. Unlike all other Dutch Bling I've ordered through the ages, this one didn't come with the "how to" card. Dutch's vid shows how to attach a CL to an already threaded beetle buckle, but not how to thread it to the strap in the first place. It looks pretty intuitive, and I think I have it worked out, but there's a lot of things I thought I had worked out in the past that turned out to be just plain wrong.
Sooooo... is this right?
