Yes, good point. I misspoke in that they are "not a mill" at all, they do produce some workwear and highly specialized fabrics (like airbag fabric etc.). What I meant, however, they are mostly known as a yarn producer. Perhaps I should've said, AFAIK, the any of the hammock fabrics on the market are mostly likely not from Hyosung.

Fair enough - perhaps let me ask this this way....

Is there any literature showing where the fabrics that we are using are made and manufactured? I took a peek at DWG, hence my question, but I don't even recall seeing anything on RSBTR

Not that I am aware of. Fabric sourcing and similar etc. is extremely important to any of our businesses, so the specifics of such are typically internal.

Respectfully, it depends on your definition of mill. We buy fabric rolls from Hyosung. It's not a final tissue like in a hammock etc but we buy fabric rolls from them that we use with another few products to make a final package.

Sure, as clarified in future posts, you are right. I was meaning to reference the fabrics in question.

Interesting thing is manufacturers in many industries can make a few tweaks and call the product another name and sell through different retailers. For example, Whirlpool can make basically the sam washer with 3 minor changes and give it 3 different model numbers and sell it through 3 different retailers: Lowes, Sears, and Home Depot for example. Confusing for the consumer to say the least. I have the opinion that this is happening in the fabric cord world after working with them in my current job.

So is there anybody that can give us a definitive answer? Supposedly there's only a half a dozen mills globally that are even able to produce high-end fabrics like we use.

Who does Rip Stop By The Role contract to manufacture their fabrics through?

Who does Dutchware Gear/DutchClips contract to manufacturer their fabrics?
