Nice.
I'll take two, or one, since they're a pair.

Ambulo tua ambulo.
Other than opening the bug net from between, what else does this accomplish? My wife and I double hang now using a spreader bar, is it more stable being zippered? Appears as though you still have the "wall" between.
This design gives 2 people the ability to zip their 2 Ravens together and have access to one another throughout the night. Because of the Raven's unique zipper design, the bodies can be zipped together in any orientation and on either side. The 2 individual hammock bodies can be built to suit tastes and needs of each individual user.
They can be used:
- independently as solo hammocks
- hung together as side by side hammocks
- zipped together as one 2 person hammock
To my knowledge, this would be the first design that allowed you to combine 2 solo hammocks into a single 2 person integrated net hammock.

I understand what you're doing and how, I'm just trying to imagine if it's more effective in some way than what we're currently doing.
We both lay left, my wife always on the left, me on the right. Naturally, the left side of my hammock creates the tall wall between us. I'm trying to picture what happens to this when the two are zippered together. I'd guess the lay must be affected in some way. Also, is there some comparatively positive effect when one person enters/exits? Will this help in any way to reduce the chance of the spreader bar hitting the tarp?
BTW, we use a 30.5" spreader bar and our shoulders pretty much make contact, but not too bad as we're on the smaller side.
That's an awesome idea! Big dreamers over there.
Randy... Nice approach , as a bonus all of ones individual under quilts will still fit nicely... Though you may have some loft crush if the two bodies ate touching closely and or moving against one another...Wider spreader bars and possibly zipper stand-offs or extenders to still connect but have a suitable spread.

Thanks Pan,
My original goal with this was to make this a standard feature of our Raven hammock. That way folks would only need to buy a spreader pole and some hardware. Not sure if that's gonna be possible or not. Need to spend more time tinkering with this design.
UQ is one thing we talked about. Keeping your same insulation would indeed be a big deal.
