Oh, and I had the USGS overlay when I took these screenshots, so that could be a reason for the different look.

Yes, it was. Thanks, Shug. I used a lot of your techniques for my first away from home hang. My daughters are even showing interest in hammocks now!

That's the default map on mine as well. It has more trails, but not as detailed for contours. Check your overlay options and looks for National Map, USGS.

Good for you! Great shared time with your daughters. My 14 yo won't even have a conversation about getting out on the trail.. maybe I should text her.

Congratulations on what sounds like a great trip with your girls! My 10 year old daughter and I started camping and backpacking trips over the past several years and I wouldn't trade those trips for anything. My daughter converted from a tent to a hammock last year and has no desire to return to the ground. I was fortunate enough to have a Father's Day trip with my family this past weekend as well. I hope you have many more great trips with your girls!

Looks like a great way to spend Father's Day weekend. Took my daughter out for her first time last weekend and she is hooked on the hiking, backpacking and hammock camping.
Hope you get to spend many more trips doing the same.

That's an awesome Fathers day, nothing but smiles. Will definitely have to check out Michaux.
Were heading to Minister Creek this weekend should the weather play nice, Oil Creek and Minister Creek will be kind of our new hang areas.
