But this : Attachment 153342Attachment 153343 is amazing that time of year trust me. Cool breeze off the water, you can see the whole sky at night, fire on the beach The poles I hang from are the perfect height and distance apart for hammocks too and just off the sand at the end of the pier.
Looks great and then I can cook for you in my dutch oven!
    I sew things on youtube.
I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

Yes! The beach it is then! You can cook all you want lol. I'll post some pics tomorrow of the spot we can hang at so everyone can get an idea on what to bring. I've also been in contact with the director for this section of the M-DT, we might have to blaze a new section possibly due to new businesses in a certain area, I'll know by the end of the month what exactly our goals are gonna be and what kinda of trail maintenance will need done. I'll post any info here as I get it if anyone who's coming is interested so you can bring tools if needed.

If this is for September 30-October 1, I may just be back in. Got room for one more?

Yes, Sat. September 30 - Sun. October 1. I'll post details when it gets a little closer and we figure them out, but we'll proly meet at like Royal Farms in Perryville in the morning sometime and either go straight to the trailhead or go to the beach and set up then just take 1 or 2 vehicles depending on how many of us there are. I'm fine with either. Depending on what we do and how far we hike will determine if we need to shuttle back to the trail head or not. I'll know once the director for this section of the M-DT gets back to me with what our goals will be for the hike. Always room for one more Aggie, there is room for like 10 of us or so to hang from the grid of poles and a few large trees right there also plus more room further down the beach if needed. I doubt we will have more than a couple of us though. It'll be car camping so bring whatever you want: extra hammock gear, fishing poles, kayak..... It proly won't take all day for the trail work so we will have plenty of time in the afternoon to just relax or do whatever.

Cool cool, it'll be fun, and Jellyfish is cooking I think so we are good to go! Once it gets a little closer I'll post what tools we need and a general itinerary but I don't mind changing things up if someone has a better idea. We will proly meet up, do the hike, go back to the cars and then drive over to the beach , set up and go from there. Or something like that lol . I'll keep everyone posted as we get closer....

I would need to check with my better half, but may be able to lend a hand and bring some tools, depending on what we need for trail maintenance.

If you've got room and need more help... I might be able to swing that weekend and would love to have another go at an overnight hang with some people who know what they are doing...
I'd have to check my work schedule and with my better half....but I think it might be doable...
