    MMG Robic XL Hammock

Here is a hammock that we've been making for a while, although it is only now queued for being added to the web site.

It's almost 6' wide, 11' long, made with 1.0 Robic XL, has a 3/32" kevlar ridgeline and polyester webbing suspension. It weighs under a pound. It costs $50.

That is a bargain, MacEntyre! And top flight materials too.

This looks like an incredibly good deal. Very interested in your products Mac. I like your creative approach to using overlaps to achieve many objectives.

Would I need a knotty mod with something that wide? Thinking I would, is that doable as add-on?

I'm not a knotty mod fan personally- but on my Robic XL (1.0 and 1.7) models I like to have them- but it's not awful without. At that width you can make a little bit of an arm shelf on your head side that is kinda neat.
I am liking 10'6" in these but 11' is a nice size too and that is a good price for an all in hammock with premium fabric.

I use the width to make more of a diagonal... it's very comfortable. Mebbe a smaller person would do it differently. HYOH!

Is there a chance you'll make this hammock with a sewn on net?

If you would like a single layer hammock with a sewn on net, zippered on one or both sides, I'll be happy to make it!

I make another hammock that's called the Bivvy Hammock... a two layer hammock with a 2' section of full width no-seeum where your face will be, zippered on one side, with a tie to pull the netting to the ridgeline. Use it in three modes: net on bottom, you on top; or you between the layers; or on the ground as a bivvy. I will be making a video of the new Bivvy Hammock next week. There's one on the table now, and when it is finished, I'll post a video.

Send me a message so we can talk more about a bugnet!
