    1.1 DL is what I started with when I had a pad. Super comfortable. When I moved to an UQ I switched to a 1.1 SL. Where the DL was pretty forgiving if the hang wasn't perfect, the SL is a bit more finicky with regard to comfort if the hang isn't spot on...but when it's hung right, it's super comfortable.


    I got the bug for an 11 footer.
    Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

    I needed 11' to get comfortable.
    Gonna spend some time at Davidson this week.
    I collect vintage camp stoves.
    I roast coffee at home.

    For me, it was a case of not knowing what I didn't know. I praised the standard BB as the best night sleep I EVER had, then I tried an eleven footer.

    I could upgrade to an XLC I suppose, but rather saw it as another DIY opportunity.
