New Molly Mac Gear "Gear Box" waterproof gear hammock

Folks, I made some simple changes to both the material and the construction of the Gear Box, which are significant improvements.

It's made of waterproof PolySil, and weighs only about 4 ounces.
The ridgeline in the hem is 3/32" kevlar, and is permanently installed, separate from the suspension.
The suspension is in the end channels, and is easily replaced with whatever you prefer.

Currently, the Gear Box costs $50 shipped anywhere in the US or Canada. The additional cost to ship it elsewhere in the world is not great, because it is small and light!

    Here is a new video:

Got some Silpoly XL for Gear Boxes... it's 6' wide on the roll, makes a Gear Box with significantly more volume, using the same pattern.

Does the wide variant of the Gear Box still use a 48" ridge line length?

That's a nice gear hammock MacEntyre. Can it be hung alongside my hammock on a TD stand? In Florida, we are not able to hang anything on trees, so it's gotta be hung on my TD stand. Thanks

Nope... it's a bit longer, in proportion. Much more volume, though.

I'm pretty excited! I just ordered the gearbox. Now to get some good trips to use my gear box and my other new gear (AHE Jarbidge underquilt).
