It could be, but I am highly suspicious--it is asking one system to do a lot. My first pass thought is that it is trying to be the Swiss Army knife of hammock gear...and as amazing as a multitool is, it is not as good as each individual tool is on their own. Each part of the hammock gear is designed for specific purposes, and even then, there are still compromises. Could this setup work in certain instances? Quite certainly. But let's think of having a tarp, an UQ, and a TQ...if it is cold, use them all, if hot and rainy, just use the tarp...mix and match at will. Also, I wonder if this would allow for the 15 degree off center alignment to make a nice flat lay? I think, my opinion, I would wait for reviews and even then, this would not replace my traditional gear but be another option in my quivver of gear.
