I've never laid in a ENO. Started with a HH EXplorer complete outfit. Joined HF & changed suspension when I first got it, before using it to home made whoopies. I now have 20 something hammocks. Some cheap short ones, some Dutch, RidgeRunner, 3 HH, etc. I supply gear for the whole immediate family.

Talking to some collage kids they told me there was a ENO following & they called it, doing the ENO. I quit asking questions as I didn't think I needed that information.

After losing my bladder to cancer & having a stoma was when I went to a RidgeRunner with the UQ from Arrowhead. I can run my nightly tube to the side to the night pouch without restrictions from excess material rising above my body. Works well.

I have 2 enos and a kammock. The Kammock is my fave. I have an 11 footer I made and when I bought the Kammock I haven't used it since. I'm not a hammock snob by any means, but I just can't afford the "good stuff".

My ENO is a gear hammock in my hammock room. I use it to hold all of the hammocks and quilts I am currently not using.

Its been years since I have actually used it myself, but if it comes out again it will be a "fireside" hammock so I dont risk a good hammock to a fire ember.

I’d have some of my grand nieces and nephews use my ENO without reservations. For me and the taller kids it would be though an 11’ hammock without a doubt.

I think with the rise of so many Amazon brands and things like one wind, Eno is pretty pricey. They seem fairly inexpensive because you get so little, hammock with no suspension, but if you compare Eno to dutchware and what you get, Eno might be more expensive.

You have brands like one wind that gives better products than Eno for a fraction of the price.

On a lark I bought the ENO Helios suspension system at REI (30% sale etc). Have to say I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s a very nice implementation of a Whoopie sling with a kind of short tree strap. It’s well designed and simple to see how it works.

I look forward to using it with my Warbonnet hammocks ;p
