Cooldays, be patient with him, besides producing the finest tarp in the known universe he's a double major in a serious venue...
Speaking of the McCat tarps---thanks to a benafactor here my OES McCat Ultra spinn now has pole pockets for a carbon fiber pole midship. If the postman cooperates it will be on its maiden hang at Mt.Rogers.

I tried emailing him yesterday but do not want to be a nuisance.

What I want to know is, if I just order a tarp from him off the website is he likely to get it done by the end of April or so?

If not, I will probably order one anyway but am just wondering how it takes to get something from OES.

His sewing machine has been on the fritz so he has been running a bit behind. It took a while for me to get mine but it is well worth the wait. You should receive yours before April if my experience is any indication.

I spent most of my money on beer and women and hammocks.
    The rest I just wasted.

Thanks for that info. If that is the case I will order one up today and hope for the best.

Yeah - he usually only runs behind when school gets busy (e.g. finals week) and when he's on a trip...but he usually announces those on the website or the forums. 7 weeks should be plenty of time for you to receive your tarp, based on everything I've seen and my experience with him.

Thanks again. Got my order in and an email confirmation, so I will just kick back. If it isn't here for the Spring trip, it will probably be here for the Fall.

Whoa - got an email reply last night and it will only take a week or so to get this tarp made. That should give me plenty of pre-trip time to string it up in the basement and gloat (ordered the 12' x 15')
