I tried a couple of them and they weren't even very good.
Anyway, I am beginning to wonder if we should start a new tradition of Friday morning donuts as we watch the trail runners. This is probably a terrible idea because we have had a banner year for bears in the area.

As long as you eat them in your campsite.
    I collect vintage camp stoves.
    I roast coffee at home.

I was contemplating the wisdom of bringing sugary donuts into camp with no way to secure them. Shooter is down at the lake for the summer so we won't have any protection.

    I ain't scurred.
I can always bring the bear canister which might not be a bad idea anyway.

Do we need to suspend the cooler from the trees? No? Can we do it anyway? Sounds fun.

Hey I brought some donuts to last year and kept them in a box near the fire pit no problem with critters going for them.

Also I have some ketchup and mustard packs and I will go to the produce side of our warehouse and get some onions. Covered.
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

I am stoked. Had a blast last year. Nothing like a good afternoon thunderstorm and a Saturday evening hotdog . Maybe we could get the Boy Scouts in before midnight this year

    WNC> 8th Annual John Rock Hang July 21-23 2017

Going to need all hands on deck for trail guides for day hikes this year (Tim, Jeremy, Carter, Joe). I broke my toe pretty bad last night, so my hiking will probably be limited this year.

    Here it is last night

...and this morning. Someone should probably tag Jellyfish in this post- she loves rainbows. I can post updates as the beautiful colors evolve over the next few days.
