Going to try and make this since I have yet to make a group hang. I know I have some appointments set up during these dates but going to try and reschedule them. Crossin my fingers

[QUOTE=Foxpoop;1794436]Going to need all hands on deck for trail guides for day hikes this year (Tim, Jeremy, Carter, Joe). I broke my toe pretty bad last night, so my hiking will probably be limited this year.

Ouch! I almost did the same thing on this antique coat rack in our bedroom a couple weeks ago.
I am up for hikes wherever people want to go.
I may bring up some firewood and my setup Thursday evening so I can bring more wood on my way in Friday afternoon.

Thanks, Tim. I am going to try to get up there Wednesday night.

Dang! Feel better, man. I might be up for hosting a trail run. I think I'll be there on Friday around 4pm or 5pm.

    WNC> 8th Annual John Rock Hang July 21-23 2017

I am supposed to be off work all day Friday... Dutch's dyneema blue straps will be tested after a brief tryout last weekend. The slip knot I tie is snugged against a larksheaded loop, by its nature, despite its name--it can't slip. My concern is--will it untie easily after hang. Maybe I will also try it with becket hitch or a modified becket hitch.
I'll skip the run--maybe I can run again in the Afterlife. It will be good to see y'all in piney woods.
