Question Lightest fabric for gear sling?

What is the lightest fabric that I can get for use as a gear sling / underhammock?

Bonus question: is there an ideal fabric for making and underquilt protector?

    Thanks.

What about Dutchware Cloud 71 fabric for the gear sling? I am making my UQ protector from Dutch's Argon fabric.

As mentioned, Dutchware Gear has their "Cloud 71" mesh-like fabric, which comes in at .71ounces per square yard for $8 per yard. It's used for UL hammocks and such. On Ripstop by The Roll there's also a fabric called Monolite ripstop nylon mesh thats the same .7 oz per yard and currently $8.50 per yard. I'm pretty sure they're both the same fabric. I have one of Dutch's hammock chair/gear slings made from the burnt orange - its awesome. Hope this helps!
