Where are people hanging for Memorial Day Weekend?

I was suppose to be at one of my hidden/remote locations in the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness this weekend, but I ran into a transportation problem. Sooo... I've had to just hang at home instead.

I'm on vacation next week so I'm waiting until after Memorial Day to head out. I'm going to go to Hocking Hills for 3 days/2nights and then driving to one of the Wayne Nat'l Forest sections for an overnight. Hopefully the weather cooperates and it doesn't get hot, which for me is above 75F.

I don't know why I bother planning trips anymore. Something seems to crop up to thwart my plans every time. I made it thru the entire winter without so much as a sniffle. I even fell in a creek twice in February with no ill effect. Now, 2 days before I'm set to leave, and I'm down with a nasty cold. Thanks a lot Mother Nature.

We hung in our backyard for the past three nights! My daughter and I for two nights and then she slept over at a friends house last night so my wife snuck out and jumped in her hammock for the night. Love my new XLC!!

I hung at 11,200 feet on the trail to Wheeler Peak in Taos, NM. Got down to the 20's with plenty of snow and ice but stayed warm with quilts, tarp. Warbonnet BB XLC
