So in your opinion, if one already had a Wooki (only UQ they owned) and they were considering getting a Chameleon but did not want to purchase an additional UQ, would the Wooki suffice as their only UQ for the Chameleon?

Yes. I use my Wookis with all of my hammocks. Just make sure that you keep one elastic element in the suspension, that breaks before the Wooki doesn.
