    Thank you!
Thank you much, I have always heard, read and seen good reports from past MAHHA events and been interested for a while but timing always seemed to get away from me. I'm following the thread and look forward to more details when they're available.

Happy Hanging to all, and to all a taut tarp!

I was thinking about coming up to my first MAHHA but Donna's note about a "planning threat" has me wondering if i need to bring some armor????????

It might be possible since I plan to be on the AT in that area about that time

I took that threat seriously and will add us three to the spreadsheet when Donna launches it at us at warp speed! We will pack as much gear in our Prius as possible including body armor for this threat! We could bring much more armor and armament just in case in my truck, but my truck gets 14mpg and the Prius gets about 65mpg, so, you know, coming from Maine and all...

Seems like we are probably around Coyote Brown at this point given the other hangs that are scheduled earlier in 2018. We are at about Dark Olive approaching Camo for the NEHHA winter hang I would guess at this point. Lol!

I went to my first (and only) group hang Spring 2017 (by myself) and met a ton of wonderful people who made me feel welcome. For those of you who are on the fence about going, I highly recommend it!

Exciting stuff for me this year is that my partner, who is a tenter, had been casually saying she might want to try a hammock, so I went and got her a Chameleon for her birthday in December. She's now researching tarps and underquilts and I think I'm going to fully convert her So I hope she is able to come with me this year and soak up even more knowledge than I am able to impart on her.

    Yay!
