Exciting stuff for me this year is that my partner, who is a tenter, had been casually saying she might want to try a hammock, so I went and got her a Chameleon for her birthday in December. She's now researching tarps and underquilts and I think I'm going to fully convert her

So I hope she is able to come with me this year and soak up even more knowledge than I am able to impart on her.

Same with me! When we car camp she wants to sleep together... and I mean, so do I, and it is a really decent queen size air mattress, BUT STILL, I'd rather be in my hammock

Me too! I was so bummed I couldn't go. Then maybe we could schedule a backpacking weekend for the summer?
