What to do with your backpack during hard rains?

Just curious how everyone protects their packs after setting up in rain. Currently, I carry some water proof material and lay my pack on it while under the tarp. Looking to hear what others do.
    Thanks much...

I hang it on the hammock ridgeline - stays high and dry.

This weekend I pulled my pack liner bag over my backpack and laid it on the ground under the hammock.

I usually hang my pack off a tree, pull a trash bag over it and tuck the open end between the pack and the tree.

I carry a foot print from an old tent, and throw it under my hammock. Then just for extra measure I put my pack cover on.

Occasionally I hang it from the ridgeline of my tarp.

I put mine in a chair underneath my tarp next to my hammock. Yes I take a chair. Don't judge.
