    Great idea.

    Awesome print on the straps.

Looks like our formerly utilitarian looking hammocks, tarps and accessories have gone main stream with dramatic prints and colors!
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

I like it. I usually tie them up with themselves.

It's funny, I have used this method on other gear, but hadn't implemented it on my suspension yet.

doh, I missed the point and ran out and made a video... I thought you meant what do you do with the excess strap that hangs down...

I gather mine up so I don't trip on it. It also acts as my water break and drip line...

what do you mean by this? Pictures? I just stuff my straps back in the zip-lock bag they came in lol was thinking of making a couple small sacks to keep them in (the baggies are getting rough). I feel like I've missed something...

Pretty cool, thanks for the video demonstration - always helpful! I never thought of actually doing something with the straps, I've always left them hanging there. I can see why it would be useful though.

I just don't care enough about my straps. Stuffed into the hammock sack when stored. Flying in the wind when hanging.

That is exactly what I do with my excess dock lines when I tie my boat to a slip.

a fold and a fold and a slippery half-hitch keeps them off the ground and makes a water break...
