Amok is making gathered ends now!!

Interesting that they would delve into the world of gathered ends after the success of their Draumr. They look good! 9.4 feet long but wide at 63 inches. 15oz including suspension. 20D Robic fabric. An interesting offering. The price is kinda steep though at $119.

*Side note: On their website review section for the Draumr, they feature Shugs review.

For overnight hammock camping and long continuous sleep we recommend the Amok Draumr 3.0 hammock. If you feel comfortable sleeping in a gathered-end hammock overnight, you'll be able to find numerous bug net, tarp and insulation options on the market that works well with the Amok Segl hammock.
Hmmm....$119 for a daytime nap hammock. I'm quite sure there will be many buying this hammock nevertheless and making the add-ons/mods to experiment with this item as a primary overnight sleeper.

    Not me though.

    I love the Draumr 3.0!

Yeah, that's where I went "OUCH!!" 119 bucks!! I could see that price if it had some other features, like a bug net or tarp or something.

They also have that fabric flap to protect the tree and the velcro to roll up the excess strap. It's a nice looking rig.
