I had the same experience as T-Minus; the net "suspension" came apart when the knot came un-done, and I'm not a fan of how it is hung. I like the "cord lock on the inside" idea; that's just like my old Rayway tarp and net-tent was hung/adjusted. I have a half-wit and a netless, both in 1.6 Hexon, and I like the lay in my netless just a tiny bit better, even with the Knotty mod on the half-wit. YMMV.
    Thanks,

On my first outing with the half-wit I ended up inadvertently sitting on the netting, not roughly mind you, and ripped it out of the seam. I ended up just removing it entirely and I use it as a netless hammock with knotty mods now.. I do really like the Hexon 1.0 I got it in, enough so that I bought another hammock body in Hexon 1.6 that is now my primary hammock.. The denetted half-wit is what I use when I want to cut the weight of the hammock in half

I have nothing but positive things to say about the half-wit. It does what it's supposed to do and has not failed. I wouldn't take it in summer hanging though. I wouldn't want a top quilt on my legs in the hot summer nights. Fronkey style net for that...

I have used the half-wit and even used it upside down during the winter months. No problems other than keeping myself covered from bugs. Kick my legs out.

Holy Smokes, Batman! I just received my Half-Wit in the mail yesterday. It is stupid light weight. I definitely like the Hexon fabric. The difference between length of the ENO doublenest and the Half-Wit are 'night & day.' I hung them both up and laid in each. The Half-Wit feels like you are in a king sized bed, while the ENO is more like a twin. I think the ENO has become a park/yard hammock. I cannot see myself sleeping in it again. It served me well, but I have seen the light!

I just watched some videos on the Chameleon. I'm very intrigued. Please let me know what you think when you get a chance. I may be in the market for another hammock soon
