MAHHA TRIP REPORT THREAD.2017

Please post up your trip report and photo's from this 2017 spring mahha here!
I will be doing my complete report along with many many pics from this years event once i get all my pics sorted and get a chance later today or in the morning.
I can say it was a great event this year and we had a really good time, we met quite afew new comers and seen alot of old friends as well.
There was also quite abit of new gear to look at this year and some very awesome looking set ups as well.

my humble little trip report video

Laurie and I had fun, good to see friends and make a couple new ones. We stopped by the Rip Stop by the Roll hammocks and Laurie scored 4 yards of 1.0 HyperD Hot Pink uncalendered that she wants me to make a hammock out of, I got 13 yards of PU4000 Burnt Orange (I don't know anything else about it) that I'm thinking of making a 12' winter tarp out of, plus a couple pack covers and stuff sacks.

I got to try out my new Loco Libre Gear Cayenne Pepper 25° UQ in those cold temps Sunday Morning, wish I would have packed my 15° Sleeping bag instead of my CDT lol I managed to stay warm with my trusty poncho.

I had a great time at my first ever hammock hang. I want to thank everyone for the laughter we had around the fire on the "quiet side" Saturday night!
Being a tent camper I think this as a great start to my new style of of camping the hammock way!
Big thanks to my father oldnway (Bill Lader)who has been trying to sell me on hammocks for years and finally succeeded!
Good to meet new people and great to have hiked with Dennis, Craig ,mike ,Amy and pops. A small hike turned into a 3 hour tour!
I look forward to the next outing and future hangs!
Thanks to Dutch and his crew and all who set up this event you have a great group of people .

Once again it was a great time thanks to everyone that came and enjoyed the event as well as those that helped in any way.

One note though, the sewing machines had the foot controls in the wrong bags. I know where one is but there needs to be a swap made of the foot controls.
So let's make a swap, who has the blue Kenmore?

I had a great time as usual! It was great to meet some new folks and have several good belly laughs around the fire Saturday night. I slept through much of the rain Saturday. Just can't seem to stay awake in a hammock. Made some biscuits and cinnamon rolls in the trendy new reflector stove with decent success. I need to experiment more with that thing. I got to see Jelly Fish's awesome new creation, the Super Nova hammock! It's a fantastic design! Good food. Good people. Good times. Looking forward to fall MAHHA!!

If anyone from the Group D area is missing a teal 32oz Nalgene, I managed to save it from Pat's trash bag.
